This policy explains how refunds work for digital subscriptions, letter subscriptions, gift and yearly plans.

DIGITAL SUBSCRIPTIONS

Instant Delivery  No Refunds After Access

Digital letters are delivered instantly to your email.
Because this is an immediately accessible digital product, we cannot offer refunds once the first letter has been emailed or downloaded.

Monthly Digital Subscriptions

You may cancel at any time.

Your subscription will remain active for the current billing month.

You will continue to receive any remaining letters for that month.

Your subscription will not renew on the next billing date.

Yearly Digital Subscriptions

If you cancel within the first month and you have received no more than one digital letter, you may receive a full refund.

After more than one month, your refund (if eligible) will be calculated as:
Yearly price minus the number of months already received at the monthly digital rate.

Example:
Yearly digital = £40
Cancel on month 3 → you received 3 letters
Refund = £40 – (3 × £4) = £28

LETTER SUBSCRIPTIONS 

Paper letters are printed, prepared, and mailed by hand. Because of this, refund rules differ from digital subscriptions.

Monthly Subscriptions

You may cancel at any time.

Once a letter has entered the mailing queue or has been mailed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Your subscription will not renew the following month.

Yearly and Gift Subscriptions

If you cancel before your first mailed letter, you may receive a full refund.

After your first mailed letter, refunds are calculated as:
Yearly paper price minus the number of mailed letters × monthly paper rate.

Example (Yearly = £100):
Cancel after 3 mailed letters → refund = £100 – (3 × £10) = £70

Lost, Damaged Mail or Misdelivered Mail

If a letter arrives damaged or does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, we will happily send a replacement at no cost.

If a letter is lost because the address on file was outdated, we can still resend a replacement; postage fees apply.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International subscribers pay an additional postage fee at checkout.
Rates may vary depending on region (EU, USA/Canada, Australia/NZ, and Rest of World).
These rates will be displayed clearly before purchase.

International postage is non-refundable once the letter has been shipped.

PAUSING A SUBSCRIPTION

You may request to pause your subscription at any time.
Paused subscriptions do not receive letters and are not billed.
When reactivated, billing resumes on your next scheduled billing date.

PROCESSING TIME

Refunds may take 7–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
All refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
